About

As an only child, I had plenty of time to entertain myself by inventing games and illustrating my favourite books. I always dreamed of becoming an illustrator, though life initially led me down other paths. After graduating from MOME in Budapest, I began my career as a freelance graphic designer and fashion photographer.

Becoming a mother reignited my passion for illustration, and soon after, I found myself immersed in the world of games—a field that captivated me for the next fifteen years. From 2010 until January 2025, I owned and worked at Marbushka Toy Manufactory. Following the sudden and tragic passing of my husband and business partner, I made the difficult decision to sell the company and begin a new chapter in my life.

In addition to illustrating the games and developing their rules, I was also the author of all the visual and written content for our blog, website, and social media channels. My training and experience enable me to work as an illustrator, graphic designer, photographer, and self-taught animator.

Today, I’m starting anew with my own company, ‘Csillagszem Illustrations’, and I’m open to commissions. If you feel a connection to my work, I’d love to hear from you.

Welcome to my world—I hope you enjoy your visit!

Thank you for your time.
